Reduced Admission: Lars Wallin Atelier at Artipelag

Rami Hanna / HA/NA Productions

Artipelag is a unique venue for art, architecture, design, events and top-quality food in a beautiful archipelago setting on Värmdö, just 30 minutes from Stockholm city. The name Artipelag is a combination of Art, Activities and Archipelago. Today, Artipelag has achieved international recognition, primarily through the numerous acclaimed art exhibitions displayed in the art gallery and the surroundings since its inception in 2012.

Artipelag offers a reduced admission fee to the exhibition Lars Wallin Atelier – 35 Years of Fashion Stories throughout Stockholm Art Week. Lars Wallin has established himself as one of Sweden’s foremost fashion designers for over three decades. His elegant design language, sense of glamour, and meticulous attention to detail have made him a leading voice in Nordic couture. Artipelag presents a highly personal anniversary exhibition curated by the designer himself, inviting visitors into Wallin’s universe, and offering an intimate glimpse into the daily life in the atelier, personal stories, sources of inspiration, and collaborations with highly skilled tailors. The exhibition features over 140 unique, handmade couture dresses, bridal gowns, and stage costumes from the designer’s archive, alongside loans from private clients’ wardrobes, many of which have never been shown to the public before.

See the exhibition at the advantageous price of 150 SEK (regular price 195 SEK). The admission fee includes introductions conducted Tuesday through Sunday in Swedish and English – see the website for current times.
