Limited Exhibition: The art collective Schvung’s debut show

  • Southside Gallery 43 Högdalsgången Bandhagen, Stockholms län, 124 54 Sweden (map)

During Stockholm Art Week, Schvung exhibits its debut show from Wednesday the 22nd to Friday the 25th.

Schvung is a group of artists from the material-based programs at Konstfack, with the aim of promoting cross-disciplinary artistic collaborations. The initiative emerged from a desire to combine art, conversation, and music into a meeting place for artistic exploration.

The shared goal is to expose their practices and move across the boundaries between the different material approaches. In a cocktail of ceramics, glass, metal, and textiles - soft, hard, fragile, and sharp-Schvung takes shape in an eclectic mix of expressions drawn from the artists’ combined practices.
