Opening of the exhibition DREAM MAPS with American artist Philip Smith, who will talk about his art and the exhibition. The works of Smith explore historical symbols, dreams, time and being through a rich, pictographic imagery that moves between spiritual traditions and contemporary visual culture.
Founded in 1994, Carling Dalenson is a private, family-run gallery specialising in established contemporary artists from around the world. Exhibitions include artists that the Carling Dalenson family has collected and supported over the years, such as Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, Frank Stella and Joel Shapiro, as well as living artists such as Vera Lutter, Ugo Rondinone, Robert Mangold, Michael Craig-Martin, Damien Hirst, Ian Davenport and Ross Bleckner.
