Hybrid business models, collectors and the future ecosystem

The second conversation turns to the broader structures supporting the art world.

As circulation changes, so do the economic and relational frameworks around art. Galleries increasingly combine exhibitions, fairs, advisory, private sales, editions, content, partnerships and events. Artists build mixed economies across sales, commissions, teaching and collaborations. Institutions and curatorial platforms are also rethinking how they create value, support experimentation and build long-term publics.

This discussion asks what happens when the art world reorganises itself across more actors and platforms. How is trust maintained? Which forms of labour remain invisible? And what kinds of new support structures are needed if experimentation is to survive?
