A new conversation series at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts: The Critique Salon. Two art critics meet to discuss a current exhibition they have both seen and reviewed. Over the course of the conversation, they have the opportunity to deepen and nuance their reflections on the artistic practice, the exhibition’s framing, or specific works—and perhaps revise their original assessment.
Participants: Hanna Johansson, Franz Josef Petersson, Magnus Bons
In her artistic career, Linnéa Sjöberg has taken on roles as a businesswoman, tattoo artist, Viking woman or breast augmentation speculator, and the solo exhibition "Out of character", which opened at Accelerator in March, presents documentation and film material from her performative works together with new sculptural installations.
On April 22, a panel will meet at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts' critics' lounge in a conversation about the 2010s art scene, autofiction and ideals. The conversation will be moderated by Hanna Johansson, critic and author. Welcome!
