A new conversation series at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts: The Critique Salon. Two art critics meet to discuss a current exhibition they have both seen and reviewed. Over the course of the conversation, they have the opportunity to deepen and nuance their reflections on the artistic practice, the exhibition’s framing, or specific works—and perhaps revise their original assessment.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts is a versatile institution tasked with working to ensure that art and architecture are afforded the significance and support needed to endure and enrich a vibrant society. The Academy’s external, public activities include exhibitions, programmes, a café and collaborative projects and its internal activities comprise scholarship boards, research, the management of unique collections and archives and a listed building.
