Norwegian artist Fredrik Vaerslev is one of the most prolific artists in the discussion of contemporary painting today. His work explores painting through repetition, everyday materials, and references to architecture and design, challenging traditional ideas about what painting can be. Over the past decade, his work has been exhibited widely in museums and galleries internationally and at Market Art Fair he is presented by both Carl Kostyál and Arnstedt Östra Karup. Here we will hear directly from Fredrik about his work, process, and current projects in a conversation with the New-York based curator Benjamin Godsill.
