Rugiyatou Ylva Jallow, Förenade i Ängens Ande (2026)
In conjunction with Stockholm Art Week 2026, A Day's March and Mack Art Foundation present a hand-painted capsule collection by artist Rugiyatou Ylva Jallow. The collection consists of unique garments and accessories, where Jallow's painterly expression – through color, layers, and thread – is translated onto textiles, exploring themes of identity, belonging, and cultural duality.
By working directly on the garments, Jallow creates pieces that exist in the space between art objects and clothing. Thread, a recurring element in her practice, serves as a visual metaphor for connection and togetherness.
Following last year's collaboration with artist Mark Frygell, A Day's March and Mack Art Foundation continue their exploration of the intersection between art and garment – where the line between what is art and what becomes art often depends on the viewer. Within this shift, art also becomes more accessible, encountered in everyday life rather than confined to a singular space.
The project will be presented exclusively at A Day's March, Kungsgatan 3, during Stockholm Art Week.
