Lucky Strike presents Time Bohlin, Oskar Korsár, Georg Nordmark, Susanna Olle, Hilda Stammarnäs and Mira Wood at Nordiska Galleriet Archives in Frihamnen, opening during Market Art Fair and Stockholm Art Week.
Historically a working harbour defined by warehouses and industrial infrastructure, Frihamnen is gradually evolving into a hub for contemporary culture. Once home to Magasin 3, a defining space for contemporary art in Stockholm, and now host to Market Art Fair, the area continues to shift as a destination for art. The area’s early 20th-century warehouses also house fashion and Scandinavian design, alongside Banan-Kompaniet, Stockholm’s largest music venue set in a former banana import facility, and the collective Blivande, activating the area through community-driven art and cultural programming.
Set within Nordiska Galleriet Archives, a hub for discounted designer furniture, the exhibition engages the industrial setting while extending an ethos of accessibility. It brings together emerging and established Swedish and international artists in a design-focused setting, free and open to the public. The exhibition culminates in a live music event curated by RIFT, celebrating the 20th edition of Market Art Fair.
LUCKY STRIKE is a floating stage for shared encounters in contemporary art. Drifting through Stockholm and beyond without a fixed address, it embraces risk, discovery, and the chance of a lucky strike. A platform in motion, it connects artists and publics across Sweden and internationally through exhibitions, music, and hybrid events.
