The Cell is Tekniska museet's new venue where art and science meet to explore life's big questions. Located in the heart of Stockholm's life science cluster in Hagastaden, The Cell offers a unique opportunity to step into a world that few otherwise have access to. Through exhibitions, engaging activities, and discussions with artists, experts, and visionaries, we bring science closer in an accessible and thought-provoking way. With Karolinska Institutet as partner and support from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, The Cell is a place for cross-disciplinary encounters between researchers, artists, students, and visitors.

The exhibition Human Behaviour investigates the complexity of human nature through contemporary art, divided into three thematic sections. This first segment, delves into identity, transformation, and the boundaries between the physical and psychological self. Featuring works by renowned artists Francesco Albano, Teresa Wennberg and Lene Marie Fossen, the exhibition presents provocative interpretations of the human condition. Visitors will experience multisensory installations, sculptures, and multimedia pieces that bridge art and science. The vernissage offers an exclusive introduction to the exhibition, providing insights into the creative process and underlying scientific themes.
