På Sergels torg is a placemaking initiative in Stockholm. The aim is to revitalise Sergels torg, an iconic central plaza, into a space for people of all ages to experience art and culture. På Sergels torg offers year-round activities accessible to everyone in the heart of Stockholm. 2025 kicks off with performances, workshops, and exhibitions featuring both established and emerging artists. På Sergels torg is a collaboration between the City of Stockholm, local property owners and civil society.
During Stockholm Art Week, the graduating class from the Graphic Design and Illustration bachelors program at Konstfack presents excerpts from their thesis projects, originally displayed in full at Konstfack's spring exhibition. This exhibition draws inspiration from poetry, storytelling, history, and politics. Through illustration, painting, printmaking, publishing, photography, type design, and animation, these subjects are explored based on the knowledge students have gained over their three years at Konstfack. Boundaries are few, and imagination is vast.
Excerpts by Lina Alarabi, Nora Barrios, Johanna Bergkvist, Sonia Engström, Maja Godek, Alice Göransson, Amanda Hoy, Julius Lindahl, Charlie Ljunggren, Mathilda Orczykowska, Katja Reimers, Lisa Samuelsson, Elsa Sjökvist, Cecilia Vårhed, Mikaela Wei, Einar Zotterman.
The exhibition is produced by Konstfack GFI & VK with the support of På Sergels torg, a site collaboration project between the city of Stockholm, local property owners and civil society. På Sergels torg contributes to a living Sergels torg where people thrive and stay.
