Ersta Diakoni is Sweden's leading non-profit organization providing healthcare and social services. Founded in the 1851 and based in Södermalm, Ersta diakoni opened a new hospital at Folkungatan in October 2023. The art collection displayed in the hospital is an eclectic mix of gifts and acquisitions, of which several are comissions for the new hospital.
