Galleri Artem is a contemporary art gallery and will during Stockholm Art Week 2025 be exhibiting a solo show with Christina Berglund.

In her solo show “Närverna”, Christina Berglund uses photo collage as a form of expression in her artistic work. The photographs she cuts apart and then assembles are always her own. Some of the photographs are specifically produced for a series of images or ideas, while others come about by putting together the large number of leftover pieces she has in her studio. The motifs, which come from her immediate surroundings, are repeated and therefore reappear in new contexts. As a whole, the images and the artistic process are her way of relating to the world around her. In the exhibition Närverna, Christina Berglund has gone back in time in a family history that began with a collection of letters.
