Färgfabriken is an exhibition space for contemporary art and architecture. Since 1995 Färgfabriken produces and showcases exhibitions in a former factory building in the old industrial area of Lövholmen. By working experimentally and across borders, bringing together different experiences and skills, Färgfabriken creates conditions for new ideas, knowledge, and artistic creations. Färgfabriken also engages in satellite and collaboration projects with architects, artists, institutions, organizations, and researchers around the world. This inspires and contributes to different public activities on site, like workshops, seminars and other cultural activities. Färgfabriken is conducted by Färgfabriken foundation, which is politically and religiously independent.
