På Sergels torg is a placemaking initiative in Stockholm. The aim is to revitalise Sergels torg, an iconic central plaza, into a space for people of all ages to experience art and culture. På Sergels torg offers year-round activities accessible to everyone in the heart of Stockholm. 2024 kicks off with performances, workshops, and exhibitions featuring both established and emerging artists. På Sergels torg is a collaboration between the City of Stockholm, local estate owners and civil society.

 Artist Vega Määttä Sitberg has handwoven series of carpets that will be placed on the stairs in front of the summer stage at Sergels torg. The colorful carpets have a geometric pattern that varies from carpet to carpet. Together they form a larger abstract motif that varies depending upon the placement of the carpets.
