In connection with the current exhibition at Riche with Peter Stridsberg, Riche is arranging a conversation between
Peter Stridsberg and Carl Johan Olsson. (Curator of 19th Century Painting @nationalmuseumswe).
As a visual artist, Peter has worked in recent years with staged photography and installations where he has explored the significance of the landscape and the garden for us humans during the ongoing green transition. By exploring the significance of the landscape both for himself and for us collectively, he poetically examines how we perceive and represent the presence of the landscape in our lives today and historically.
In his exhibition at Hos Oss på Riche, he presents brand new photographic works from 2025 where the gaze and the light are at the center of various photographic poems. These tableaux are based on his ongoing project “The Greenery of the Night”
Peter Stridsberg b. 1994 in Gothenburg and lives and works in Umeå. In 2019 he received a Master degree in Fine Art at Umeå Academy of Fine Arts and has since exhibited at art galleries in Sweden and internationally.
