RUB! is a feminist invocation – an urgent call to dwell into the depths of flesh as a site of desire, resistance, and becoming. RUB! reclaims the body as substance, where dreams are not only imagined but felt and lived.

Curated by Misschiefs in the setting of a real-life home, the exhibition dissolves boundaries between private and public, as artists Andrea Hasler and Åsa Cederqvist engage the sensual, the visceral, and the transformative force of embodiment. The title RUB! is inspired by the iconic musician and performer Peaches.

Misschiefs is a method and platform to push for more representation of womxn artists. Since 2020 Misschiefs offers rent-free art studios and active support to selected womxn artist and curates feminist exhibitions internationally.
